Northeast India Road Ride

Motorcycle Magic from the Mountains till the Shore.
Northeast India is a gateway to the wild frontier.The terrain relishes its beauty that is serene yet strange enough to sweep you off your feet.The tribal aura and its charismatic charm will hold you forth and the reverbarations remain for ever.Ride this part of the wild pure and beautiful enigma on an iron horse -CHAK TA-a nemesis for Motorcycle.
Northeastern India comprise of eight states affectionately addressed as seven sisters and the eigth brother.Assam,Meghalaya,Mizoram,Manipur,Tripura,Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh are the seven sisters while their adorable brother is Sikkim.This family in the beautiful terrain of the northeast India are a delight to experience the panorama of nature,warmth and hospitality of the people and the exotic wilderness  that is sure to cast its spell on any.
Motorcycle ride is the essence behind those who seek to explore, contemplate and aspire.AMotoride promises to endure this experience of exploration.
                 Day-1 [Siliguri/Bagdogra-Barobisha-Bogaingoan}            Distance-273 Kms
The ride will start on your motorcycle after an exhaustive briefing by your ridemate [Captain De Crew] about the amazing trail of the exploration.
We will start early.After breakfast the riders will kick of their throttle on NH-37.Ride will be short yet sweet as it passes through the famous Dajeeling-Doors tea terrain.
A lazy lunch at Barobisha,the transit settlement at West Bengal/Assam boarder.
Throttle once again till Bogaingoan- a sleepy little town that wakes up late.Comfartable rest for the night.
                 Day-2 [Bogaingoan- Rangia-Tezpur]                              Distance-310 Kms
The second day ride will commence after an  early breakfast of Boro tribal cuisine followed by another thunderous throttle on NH-37.The bikes will keep hammering the four lane highway passing across small temples and rural tribal houses,the green paddy field and so many other visual delicacies on the left right and the centre.
Suplutous Punjabi lunch awaits for all at a small transit settlement known as Rangia.''Sher-e-Punjab''- The Punjabi Tiger is all praise for the Punjabi meal he offers which he swears will help the riders throttle harder and better.We bless him and the the ride begins once more.Since the ride will be uphill the throttle will now round the curves till evening to reach Tezpur--A bigger town with a broader edge.
Evening is at your leisure.Night shall call you for a hot shower,a campfire and a quick dinner with Tezpur Enfielders-a group of local bikers who have been throttling on their terrain now and then.
A good night rest.
              Day-3 [ Tezpur- Jhaklabanda- Kaziranga]                                         Distance-196 Kms
Today morning will be at your disposal.Short ride around the town and a late lazy breakfast will do good to all.The crispy Enfield mechanic of Tezpur Babua will take care of the bikes and convince them to behave well throughout the journey.You can look at him play.
The ride will once again begin and the throttle shall pierce through the mighty Brahmaputra river at Bharalu Bridge.Across the bridge is Central Assam  and after a short halt at Jhaklabanda-a small sundry settlement- the ride will enter the wilderness-Kaziranga Wildlife Santuary famous for Indian Tigers and one horned Rhinocerous.
Chaktas the iron horses will remain silent here, they cannot rebuke the wild animals at large.
Riders here are at their own ease to go around and enjoy the wild  habitat.
Night to rest.
                Day- 4- [ Kaziranga- Jorhat-Majuli ]                                           Distance- 154 Kms.
The ride will start late.After breakfast  riders can still explore the wilderness of Kaziranga and it can be any- reptile rupture , the carnivorous quest or simply ornithiology.After lunch the  throttle will kick off once again on NH-37.
The wilderness will engulf now to paddygreen settlements and small  Assamese hammocks.The throttle will reassure the essence behind exploration . Tea at Jorhat-the tea town of Assam and the motorcycles wll heed towards he mighty Brahmaputra  on a narrow dirt stretch to reach Nimatighat the River Port.
You will ride the river on a river canopy to reach Asias biggest river island -MAJULI.One hour on the ferry and the Chaktas' are again ready to roar on the sand terrain of the island.Throttle on the river basin is a toast to the tyres.
Night in a bamboo house and dinner on leaves will be worth an adore.Good night rest.

              Day- 5 [Around Majuli]                                                              Distance- On your Intrest.
The day will be at your disposal.The island is sure to rebound around your throttle.You will definately not get lost.
Lunch at tribal kitchen in the afternoon.Rest for  sometime and throttle to a small tribal settlement to encounter the master river boat makers.The oak and cask are plenty here.
Evening is at your leisure.Night shall dawn you with a wild barbecue filled with an ethnic aura.A good night rest.
                 Day- 6  [Around Majuli]                                                            Distance- 100 Kms
Lazy breakfast once again and the throttle will reach you to the estern tip of the river island for fishing.The noise is mute except for the humming of ocassional splash and the chrips.This will check your pulse of patience.
Afternoon lunch at Mishing's Kitchen.Enjoy the exotic mix and match delicacies.
In the evening the throttle will  wake up the mask makers famous for creating mythical images.Riders can learn the skill of weaving masks with  river mud.A quick discussion on Hinduism and the Vaisnavite culture is possible with philosophers in this epitome of knowledge.
Dinner at bamboo house and a good night rest.
            Day -7 [Majuli- Neematighat-  Jorhat- Bokaghat- Guwahati]                Distance-308 Kms

The throttle will start early with a cup of tea and light breakfast.
You will ride the river on the canopy once again.Throttle back now with your eyes straight and the mind on introspection.There will be much to think about.
Lunch at Bokaghat-a small transit settlement -at Assamese kitchen.
Ride the highway to reach Guwahati by late evening
